    sight, or view. EX: He catch a glimpse of a
    girl riding bicycle.

    quickly, transient. EX: For a fleeting
    moment she thought she was going to run
    away.

    alien (adj): unlike one's, strange, not
    belonging to one. EX: It is alien to my
    tastes.

    Ex: Washington has been abuzz with stories about disarray inside White House

    Ex: Smokers are well aware of the dangers to their own health.

    Pg 99 (transitive verb) Denied: to declare untrue. Sample sentence: that it would be denied.
    Pg 100 (noun )Tufts: a small cluster of elongated flexible outgrowths attached or close together at the base and free at the opposite ends Sample sentence: There were tufts of sparse grass.
    Pg 102 (adjective) Forbidden: not permitted or allowed Sample sentence: because the books are forbidden to citizens.
