  1. Hesitate. Pg. 67 ( verb) To be slow to act, speak, or decide. To pause in uncertainty; waver. Sample sentence: These verbs mean to be uncertain, irresolute, or indecisive. To hesitate is to hold back or pause because of doubt or uncertainty: "A President either is constantly on top of events or, if he hesitates, events will soon be on top of him" Harry S. Truman.

    Stun. Pg. 69 (Adj) To overwhelm or daze with a loud noise.

    Compel. Pg. 69 (Verb) To necessitate or pressure by force. Sample sentence: he realized that it didn’t compel him to be rude.

    Buzz Pg. 72 (verb/ noun) To make a low droning or vibrating sound like that of a bee. Sample sentence: So he buzzed instead.

    Grasping. Pg 86 (Adj/noun) Exceedingly eager for material gain; avaricious. Sample sentence: He knew there was a word, but the pain kept him from gasping it.

    embroider(verb): to decorate cloth with a
    pattern of stitches usually using coloured
    thread. EX: She embroidered a towel for me.

    upholster(verb): to cover a chair, etc.
    with soft material. EX: The skins are used
    for mittens, gloves, hats and to upholster
    footstools.

    Example: It was quit a shock to see my face on that screen.

    2- Page 83 middle of page: eager (Ad): If you are eager to do or have something you want to do or have it very much.

    3- Page 90 top of page: pedaled (verb).when you pelal a bicycle, you push the pedals around with the feet to make it move.

    Example: Mohammed was too tired to pedal back.
